Most Integrale owners have been 'taken by surprise' by their car at some time, either by understeer or oversteer or both, even though the drivers have normally retained or regained control they often remain mystified as to what caused the problem or what gave them back control. We can unravel the mystery and reduce the laundry bills.

To help our customers understand their Integrale and to give them a chance to unleash the cars full potential we have now organised a series of one day advanced driving techniques courses for the Integrale owner/driver.

The format of the day is as follows:

The techniques that are explained were developed and practised under competitive rally conditions ( mostly in the forest ), the object of the course is not to train rally drivers, but by using some of the techniques, we can allow drivers to find out what their car is capable of and to understand the control methods that can be employed at, or near, the limits of the car's handling performance. Armed with such knowledge it is useful when the unexpected occurs allowing the driver a larger safety margin and other options during the moment of crisis.

The maximum number of drivers on any one day is limited to four. These drivers will be under the instruction of John Whalley at Wethersfield airfield. The training is carried out on a one to one basis in your own car, we will supply a set of wheels and tyres for your car so that no damage is done to your own road tyres. The surface of the airfield is of good quality, with no obstacles to damage your car unless you make a special detour to find them.

Braking techniques

Left foot braking
